Laibach is better than heroin, and Friedrich Nietzsche himself would be proud of this album.

Finally! After a long delay (thanks to my local post office), my album arrived last week, and it was well worth the wait, first because it was impossible to find it at any record stores in my country (which is weird on its own since I had no problems getting Spectre there), and second, because it's one of Laibach's greatest recent outings.
As much as I liked Volk, LAIBACHKUNSTDERFUGE, the Iron Sky Soundtrack (I have the first issue) and Spectre itself, I found it specially refreshing to listen to a Laibach album echoing the sound, feel and atmosphere of their experimental interventions during the early 80's, while at the same time showcasing Laibach's unique sense of unexpectedness and enigma, mainly thanks to the way they let themselves get inspired by Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra book, and Matjaž Berger's idea of adapting it into a play in 2016.
Here is a soundtrack that stands on its own and doesn't depend (much) on its source material to be fully appreciated; of course, attending the play would have been a more complete experience, but one out of reach for many of us, in terms of distance and language barriers (well, a barrier I can always overcome with the language of misunderstanding!); re-reading Nietzsche's book is an equally good option for those of us who couldn't be there, though, and constitutes a lasting impression, specially with Milan Fras' voice in mind!
All in all, I'm very satisfied with the most recent addition to my music collection, and with my experience at the Laibach WTC store. I'm looking forward to the Laibach Revisited boxset and to buying more stuff from the WTC store soon!

I knew nothing about this Album. After the live gig in Rostock/Germany I bought this one and now I know much more about music. A fantastic Album!

CD came all the way from Europe very quickly.
I can't wait to listen to it more- usually Laibach recordings get better the more you listen to them. It was good listening already. Plus, the cover art is great too. Consistently one of the most interesting art/music projects going, for a long time now- if you ask me.

Glorious, and utterly, perfectly, Laibach.
With echoes of Nova Akropola, Kapital, and Krst/Baptism, this CD is both in sum, and in part, exactly what we want from Laibach. Moody, uplifting, hypnotic and riveting. This is one of the best Laibach releases I've had in years, I can only hope one day we can get the full performance on DVD/Blu-ray to accompany this release!
With this release, Laibach remains as potent as ever, and, if anything, this album is Laibach's last few releases, from Spectre, LaibachKunstDerFuge, Volk, and such distilled into one wonderful, classic album, that will not be leaving your CD player for days on end.
I cannot recommend this enough! It is essential Laibach!
