This reinterpretation of the 1968 musical shows us the most contemporary Laibach. Industrial music amplified with deep and enveloping sounds.

The craftsmanship and quality of this cd is astounding! The dedication, love and passion put into the art both visually and musically is unmatchable! Every item sold by Laibach is inspiring in every way!

this album is high-quality, superb work in many aspects: first of all, unique and innovative interpretation of „Sound of Music“ - keeping the spirit of the movie-musical alive and merging the western motives of songs with profoundness of korean music, the result is incredibly strong, with logical flow from one song to another. Accompaning brochure with excellent images of artworks done at a very high artistic level, remarkable and interesting, also with riddle image of a male deer although the original song was about female deer (there must be some explanation for this change, and I have been thinking of possible reasons for that). This album reminds me of my childhood in UdSSR, what people were dreaming of, sincerity, happiness, being straightforward, an ideal of a society - nice to see the connection with korean people and their culture. All in all, tremendous work done for the album, thanking Laibach and everybody contributing to that experience.

Got more than I was expecting with this CD - which is more a photo book with a CD inside! Always amazed at the quality of Laibach stuff!

Beautiful, quirky adaptations of the songs from The Sound of Music. Surprising and impressive. Beautiful album.

To taste the cool mountain breeze on my hands and face. To gaze into the face of creation. Is there a word to describe this feeling? Can I drink from this cup forever?

I have absolutely all albums (LP, CD, MC) Laibach. I'm a fan - collector. To be honest, I like the early Laibach season more than these latest works - but I love all their work.
Congratulations - do it next!
And more concerts in Slovakia!

And THIS is how you solve a problem like Industrial!
I don't know if Rodgers & Hammerstein would be proud, but this album would be even more Laibachian if not! And certainly much more industrial than many so-called "industrial" bands out there. Any Laibach fan will understand why.
Needless to say, HIGHLY recommended! Get it now and happy (or not) listening!

I was quite happy with Laibach doing the Zarathustra-thing, by going back to their more experimental / industrial style, even it's by a new composer. Before that I heard they played THE SOUND OF MUSIC in Korea and all I could imagine about that was a big "?"...
Then finally the record surfaced and I immediately ordered the Vinyl, because of it being gold (after the silver pressing of Nova Akropola). Then I realised, the CD-package is somewhat diffrent and worth to collect, so I ordered that one, too. By reading the explanation to the record, I understood WHY Laibach took this for a "new original" (since they seem to dislike the term cover-version) and I found it to become more catchy everytime one listens to it.
I wonder why Mina isn't on board and this time it's zwei instead of vier Personen, but everything about the album and the package is a new twist in Laibachs career. It's not only interesting but strangely sweet an album and I think "DO-RE-MI" is a gem that would make a good single.

Great music, naturally, but the quality of the manufacturing is also excellent. This, unlike nearly every modern CD, has been mastered with full dynamic range! The louder you play it, the better it sounds. The artwork is in a beautiful, foil-embossed hardback mini-book with lush, thick photographs that are a pleasure to leaf through. If only all CDs looked and sounded this good!
