This extensive (240 pages) monography in Slovene language and English translation, brings together pictorial and documentary material plus scholastic texts on the artistic practice of Laibach Kunst during the formative period in the first half of '80's, when their early exhibitions established the method of retroavantgarde, the artistic processes of appropriation and montage, and the introduction of a distinctive motif world and system of symbols. The six essays herein, provide the most complete historical analysis and professional evaluation of Laibach's artistic and media activity to date.
