Laibach
Laibach; 1983/2007
A colour reinterpretation of a black and white Laibach poster from 1983, made for an exhibition entitled “Ausstellung! Laibach Kunst – P.M.”
The poster features four portraits, symbolically representing the four members of the group (the living dead), painted in a neo-expressionist style. The pseudonyms of the members are Eber, Saliger, Dachauer and Keller. The original Laibach symbol of the cogwheel and a cross is added to the print over the portraits, with a hand and a hammer at the very front of them. These emblems are meant to represent the industrial principle of the group's work and organization.
Silkscreen print on paper: 100 x 70 cm, limited edition of 65 in the series, signed and stamped with an original Laibach seal.
All posters are suitably protected and shipped in a cardboard tube, separately from the other ordered items.
